Schools of Immigrants and Refugees – Interculturalism

With starting line the experience from immigrant and refugee schools which have formed the previous years parallel to the extended movement of solidarity towards immigrants and refugees, we research the role of education in social integration of cultural minorities and the dynamic action of Solidarity School in front of contemporary challenges of refugee and migration issues, but also broader on the advocacy of refugge and immigrants rights.

Questions researced:

  • To what extend the educational needs of refugees and immigrants are covered by the official educational system?
  • How do social networks intervene in social, mental and legal needs, in the necessity for visibility and security of immigrants and refugees of different age and gender groups, aiming at social emancipation and osmosis of cultures?
